How it works

Connecting Branch

  1. Add the app in AffClixEnter your Branch app ID and Branch key, and set a webhook secret for the integration.
  2. Create a webhook in BranchSend install and in-app event webhooks to your AffClix endpoint, with the affiliate click ID carried on the Branch link.
  3. Every webhook is verifiedAffClix checks the HMAC-SHA256 signature of the raw body against your secret before recording anything.
  4. Attribute, dedupe, payThe event is joined to the affiliate click through Branch's last attributed touch, duplicates are dropped and the conversion pays on the campaign's rate.

How does AffClix verify Branch webhooks?

Each webhook is signed with HMAC-SHA256 over its body using the secret you configure. AffClix recomputes the signature and discards anything that does not match.

How is the affiliate identified from a Branch event?

From Branch's last attributed touch data on the webhook, which carries the link and click the install or event is attributed to.

Can affiliate links still deep link into my app?

Yes. Your Branch links keep handling the deep link; AffClix only credits and pays the affiliate for what Branch attributes.

Do I need to replace Branch?
