How it works

Connecting Kochava

  1. Add the app in AffClixEnter your Kochava app GUID and API key, and set a postback secret.
  2. Configure the partner postback in KochavaSend install and event postbacks to your AffClix endpoint, passing the affiliate click ID.
  3. Every postback is verifiedAffClix checks the SHA-256 signature built from your secret and the body before recording anything.
  4. Attribute, dedupe, payThe conversion is joined to the affiliate click, duplicates are dropped and it pays on the campaign's CPI or CPE rate.

How are Kochava postbacks verified?

Each postback carries a SHA-256 hash built from your integration secret and the request body. AffClix recomputes it and rejects anything that does not match.

How does AffClix know which app a postback is for?

By the Kochava app GUID configured on the integration and carried in the postback.

Can I pay different rates for installs and events?

Yes. Installs and each named event are recorded separately, so each can carry its own CPI or CPE payout.

Do I need to replace Kochava?

No. Kochava remains your attribution platform; AffClix handles affiliate crediting and payouts from its postbacks.
