Google Ads integration that closes the loop on paid traffic
When you buy Google traffic into offers tracked in AffClix, two things matter: Google's bidding needs to see the conversions that happened after the click, and your reports need to see what that traffic cost. The Google Ads integration does both.
How the Google Ads integration works
- Capture the click IDAffClix stores Google's gclid (and gbraid / wbraid for iOS traffic) on the click when it lands on your tracking link.
- Connect your Google Ads accountAuthorise AffClix with Google sign-in and choose the customer account to send conversions to.
- Send conversions backWhen a tracked conversion happens, AffClix forwards it to Google Ads as an offline conversion keyed to the original gclid, mapped to the conversion action you choose.
- Pull spend into reportsA report-sync connection brings campaign and ad-group spend, impressions, clicks and conversions into AffClix on a schedule — hourly by default.
What the Google Ads integration covers
Offline conversion upload
Leads, sales and deposits that happen downstream of the click are reported back to Google for Smart Bidding.
Event mapping
Map each AffClix event — lead, sale, first deposit — to the Google Ads conversion action it should count as.
Google sign-in
Connect with OAuth instead of pasting API credentials into a form.
Spend and performance sync
Campaign and ad-group cost, impressions, clicks and conversions arrive in AffClix for ROI reporting.
Delivery logs
Every conversion sent to Google is logged with its response, so a rejected upload is visible rather than silent.
Credential health checks
AffClix checks connected credentials on a schedule and flags a destination whose access has lapsed.
Conversions API destinations are included on every AffClix plan, including Free. Compare plans →
Who connects Google Ads
Media buyers
Feed Google the post-click conversions it cannot see, so bidding optimises for real outcomes, not landing-page visits.
Lead-gen and finance advertisers
Report qualified leads and funded accounts back to Google, not just form fills.
Agencies
Show clients spend against affiliate-tracked revenue in one report.
Frequently asked questions
What are Google Ads offline conversions?
Conversions that happen after the ad click but outside Google's own tag — a qualified lead, a first deposit, an approved sale. Uploading them with the original gclid lets Google attribute them to the click and use them for bidding.
How does AffClix know which Google click a conversion came from?
AffClix stores the gclid (and gbraid or wbraid) on the click when the visitor arrives on your tracking link, and uses it when forwarding the conversion.
Do I need to paste Google API credentials?
Not for conversion upload — connect with Google sign-in and pick the customer account. Report sync for spend uses a Google Ads API connection with a developer token.
Can I choose which conversions are sent?
Yes. Map the AffClix events you want to send to Google Ads conversion actions; events you do not map are not sent.
Which plan includes this?
Conversions API destinations, including Google Ads offline conversions, are included on every plan.
