How it works

Connecting AppsFlyer

  1. Add the app in AffClixEnter your AppsFlyer app ID and dev key, and set a postback secret for this integration.
  2. Point AppsFlyer's postbacks at AffClixConfigure the install and in-app event postbacks in AppsFlyer to send to your AffClix endpoint, passing the affiliate click ID in the attribution link.
  3. Every postback is verifiedAffClix checks the HMAC-SHA256 signature of the raw body against your secret before anything is recorded.
  4. Attribute, dedupe, payThe install or event is joined to the affiliate click, duplicates are dropped, fraud flags are applied, and the conversion pays on the campaign's CPI or CPE rate.

Frequently asked questions

How does AffClix verify AppsFlyer postbacks?

Each postback carries an HMAC-SHA256 signature of its body computed with the secret you set for the integration. AffClix recomputes it and rejects anything that does not match.

Do I have to replace AppsFlyer?

No. AppsFlyer stays your attribution source; AffClix consumes its postbacks to credit and pay affiliates. If you ever want to consolidate, AffClix also has its own MMP.

Are retargeting conversions paid as installs?

Not unless you want them to be. The retargeting flag from AppsFlyer is kept on the conversion, so your payout rules can treat re-engagements differently from new installs.

Can affiliates be paid on in-app purchases?

Yes. Send purchase events from AppsFlyer and pay a CPE, or a revenue share on the event revenue it reports.
