How it works

Connecting Adjust

  1. Add the app in AffClixEnter your Adjust app token and choose a callback secret for the integration.
  2. Add AffClix as a callback in AdjustSend install and event callbacks to your AffClix endpoint with the secret as a bearer token, and pass the affiliate click ID in the tracker URL.
  3. Callbacks are authenticatedAffClix rejects any callback whose Authorization header does not carry your secret.
  4. Attribute, dedupe, payEach install or event is joined to the affiliate click, duplicates are dropped and the conversion pays on the campaign's CPI or CPE rate.

Frequently asked questions

How are Adjust callbacks authenticated?

Adjust sends your callback secret as a bearer token in the Authorization header. AffClix compares it with the secret configured on the integration and rejects any callback that does not match.

Does AffClix read Adjust's fraud results?

Yes. The fraud flag and fraud type Adjust attaches to a callback are carried onto the conversion, so it can be held or rejected before an affiliate is paid.

Can I tell installs from reattributions?

Yes. Adjust's activity kind is kept on every conversion, so payout rules can treat installs, events and reattributions differently.

Do I need to leave Adjust?

No. Adjust stays your attribution source. AffClix uses its callbacks to credit and pay affiliates, and also offers its own MMP if you want to consolidate later.
